Pokemon Jupiter

Pokemon Jupiter is a highly unique and eccentric Game Boy Advance ROM hack based on Pokémon Ruby, created by Corvus of the Black Night. The story begins in the Mynoan Civilization, where a great Deluge threatens to destroy everything. You play as Ivan (from the Golden Sun series), who flees through a portal with a mysterious man named Charon and ends up in the world of Pokémon. Washing ashore near Aleph Town, Ivan is rescued by a man named Fabio Pink, eventually meeting a trainer named Rachel and embarking on a bizarre new adventure.

The game heavily features elements and parodies from the Golden Sun franchise. Not only do you play as Ivan, but many dungeons are inspired by Golden Sun designs. Familiar characters like Isaac, Garet, Mia, Jenna, and Felix appear as Gym Leaders. The hack is also infamous for its wild, out-of-place cameos, featuring appearances by the Mythbusters, Daleks, and even 2008 US Presidential candidates. You can even find hidden 'Easter Egg' Pokémon based on Golden Sun characters.

Pokemon Jupiter boasts numerous technical and aesthetic changes, including over 65 new songs with custom instruments, a playable music box, redrawn animations, and the unique ability to use telepathy with your Pokémon. Players should note that the game has a +13 rating for mild language and quirky humor. Additionally, there are a few known retro bugs: pressing 'Select' without a registered item causes a text glitch, and the move 'Moonlight' is bugged in the Battle Tower.
