About Pokémon Evolved
Pokémon Evolved is an innovative GBA ROM hack created by AtSign8877 and Team, built on the foundation of Pokémon Leaf Green. The project's defining hook is the massive expansion of evolution lines; the original 151 Kanto Pokémon have been given five or more evolution stages, bringing the total Pokédex to 354 unique entries. Every new stage features custom front and back sprites, unique cries, and dedicated shiny variants, making the discovery of familiar creatures feel entirely new.
The gameplay experience is heavily streamlined for enjoyment and experimentation. Players have access to infinite Rare Candies via the PC (which replenish automatically) and an 'EXP All' system that is permanently active, removing the need for tedious grinding. The battle system has been modernized with the Physical/Special move split and the inclusion of selected moves and abilities from generations beyond the GBA era, providing more strategic depth to every encounter.
Evolution mechanics have been simplified to favor a single-player experience: all Pokémon now evolve via level-up or stones, completely removing the need for trading or friendship requirements. While the Celadon Stone Seller stocks everything you need, the journey through Kanto remains challenging with rebalanced stats and wild encounters. Whether you are using 'HM interns' to clear obstacles or aiming to catch all 354 beings in a single playthrough, Pokémon Evolved offers a fresh and expansive take on a classic world.
