Pokémon Vestigios de WAH is a special GBA ROM Hack developed by Xiros and a dedicated team, based on Pokémon FireRed. It was created as a magnificent commemorative project to celebrate the 20th anniversary of 'Whack a Hack!' (WAH) – the largest and most influential Spanish-speaking fangame and ROM hacking community in history.

What began in 2005 as a modest gathering place for creators to share ideas, scripts, and graphics has grown over two decades into a historic institution that reshaped the global hacking scene. This game serves as a playable museum and a love letter to that journey, taking players on a nostalgic trip through the community's rich lore and evolution.

The core gameplay centers around the Challenge Tower, a formidable 21-floor gauntlet where each room represents and celebrates a different era of Whack a Hack!. Instead of a traditional gym badge journey, you will battle the actual administrators, moderators, and prominent members who shaped the community's history, honoring twenty years of passion, creativity, and collaboration.

Mechanically, the game is highly advanced, featuring full Generation 9 battle mechanics, including Pokémon from various generations, community-inspired original creatures, and iconic Fakémon. Players can test their tactical skills across three difficulty levels and multiple formats, including Standard, Double, and Reverse battles. You can jump straight into the action with 21 pre-made teams, or unlock and purchase new Pokémon to build the ultimate custom squad.
