How to play Super Puyo Puyo Tsuu
Use the D-pad to move the falling Puyos left or right, and press down to speed up their descent. The A or B button rotates the Puyos clockwise, while the X or Y button rotates them counter-clockwise.
About Super Puyo Puyo Tsuu
Super Puyo Puyo Tsuu is a competitive puzzle game that first appeared on the Super Famicom/SNES in the mid-1990s. It takes the simple premise of matching colored blobs and builds it into a frantic head-to-head challenge.
The core gameplay in Super Puyo Puyo Tsuu involves dropping pairs of colored blobs, called Puyos, from the top of the screen. Your goal is to land them so that four or more Puyos of the same color touch each other. When this happens, the connected Puyos disappear, and any Puyos above them fall into the empty spaces.
The real depth of Super Puyo Puyo Tsuu emerges when you start setting up chain reactions. By carefully placing Puyos, you can cause a cascade of matches. Each successful chain not only clears your board but also sends "garbage" blocks to your opponent's screen, which can only be cleared by making subsequent matches. Mastering these chains is key to outmaneuvering opponents.
The game features a story mode where you face off against a cast of characters, each with their own animations and sometimes unique ways of interacting with the game. Winning matches advances you through the story. The strategy in Super Puyo Puyo Tsuu comes down to anticipating your opponent's moves and planning your own chains several steps ahead.
