Getting arrested means disqualification from the race. Road Rash challenges you to manage your bike's speed, your proximity to other riders, and your awareness of the law all at once.

After each race, you use any prize money you earned to repair your bike or buy a new, faster one. This progression system encourages you to perform well to unlock better equipment for tackling the increasingly difficult courses and more aggressive opponents in Road Rash.
