The gameplay in Road Rash II centers on high-speed motorcycle racing combined with direct player-versus-player combat. Police officers on motorcycles and in cars will actively pursue you, attempting to apprehend you, adding another layer of challenge to the races. Progression in Road Rash II is tied to completing a series of races. Winning races earns you qualifying points and money. If you don't qualify, you'll have to repeat the previous set of races. The money you earn can be spent between races at the shop, where you can buy better motorcycles.
