Pokemon Eternal Snow

Pokemon Eternal Snow is a massive, feature-rich GBA ROM hack created by Reshiram white as snow, using Pokemon Emerald as its foundation. This ambitious project completely revolutionizes the traditional progression system, expanding the game into a grand trilogy of challenges that spans across three rounds, featuring 18 different element-typed Gyms and 3 separate Pokemon Leagues.

The game features a massive roster of 672 Pokemon, completely updated with new stats, modern movesets, custom sprites, authentic cries, and revised Pokedex entries. The Fairy-type is fully integrated, alongside all eight Eevee evolutions. To adapt to this massive roster, the creator has introduced four new evolutionary items—the Dawn Stone, Dusk Stone, Shiny Stone, and Link Cable—allowing all trade evolutions to be completed entirely solo. New evolution methods such as Map Name and Move Name evolutions are also included.

Mechanically, over 100 new moves have been added with unique animations, battle effects, and descriptions, while classic moves have been fully rebalanced. Exploration is streamlined with highly requested quality-of-life adjustments, including reusable TMs, running indoors, a functional Day and Night system, and gaining Exp. Points upon successfully capturing a wild Pokemon.

The journey doesn't end at the champion's seat; completing the first League unlocks completely new, celestial-themed regions to explore, including Mars, Venus, and Pluto, packed with new high-level trainers. Aspiring trainers should note that Eevee is exclusively obtainable right at the beginning of the game, and certain legendary birds and dragons (like Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and Kyurem) have a rare chance of holding exclusive, otherwise unobtainable TMs upon encounter.
