How to play Pokemon Emerald Imperium
Navigate your character and menus using the D-pad. The A button is used for selections and interactions, while the B button allows you to run in the overworld or cancel actions. The L and R buttons can be used for cycling through Pokémon in battle or other context-sensitive actions.

Pokemon Emerald Imperium is a comprehensive GBA ROM hack created by iriv24, designed for players who crave the strategic intensity of Pokemon Radical Red within the Hoenn region. This project adopts many acclaimed features from RR, including updated abilities, stat adjustments, and type changes, allowing players to use the official Radical Red damage calculator for tactical planning. Version 1.0 offers a complete journey from the first badge to the Champion, including expanded post-game legendary events.
The game features a massive roster including almost all Pokemon from Generations 1 through 9, supported by a modern battle engine with smarter AI and built-in level caps to prevent over-leveling. A key highlight is the expanded Mega Evolution system, which includes custom Megas for Gen 4 starters and several Gigantamax forms converted into Mega Evolutions. To streamline the experience, players can toggle a 'Minimal Grinding Mode' (MGM), use a built-in Randomizer, and access hidden stats like EVs and IVs directly through a Gen 5-style summary screen.
Exploration in Hoenn has been enriched with Gen 4 cameos, such as Dawn appearing as a rival and the presence of Sinnoh Gym Leaders. With over 100 specialized boss and mini-boss battles, the challenge is relentless but rewarding. Modern features like DexNav, toggleable following Pokemon, a form-changing key item system, and a Heart Gold/Soul Silver style Pokedex ensure that this nostalgic journey feels fresh and mechanically deep.
