Nekketsu Oyako

Nekketsu Oyako follows the Ichimonji family, a father and son duo, as they dismantle a nefarious criminal organization through intense street combat. The narrative centers on their quest to restore order, forcing the protagonists to traverse various industrial and urban environments to confront the leaders of the opposition.

Nekketsu Oyako utilizes a traditional side-scrolling beat 'em up framework, emphasizing close-quarters combat and multi-hit combos. Players manipulate either the father or the son, each possessing distinct movement speeds and attack patterns, to manage groups of enemies appearing from both sides of the screen.

The game features cooperative multiplayer, allowing two participants to tackle stages simultaneously. Combat mechanics integrate standard punches and kicks with character-specific special techniques activated by specific button inputs, alongside the ability to utilize environmental props found throughout the stages to inflict additional damage.

As a late-era contribution by Technos Japan, Nekketsu Oyako serves as a stylistic successor to the studio's earlier brawler titles.
