You control Prince Ali, the heir to a kingdom in peril, who discovers a magical dagger and learns of an impending doom. As you journey through Beyond Oasis, you'll explore diverse environments, from lush forests to desolate ruins, engaging in real-time combat. Your primary offensive tool is a sword, which can be upgraded, but a significant part of combat and puzzle-solving involves summoning elemental spirits. These spirits, found throughout the world, grant Ali special powers – for example, the Fire Spirit can launch fireballs or melt ice, while the Water Spirit can create paths or douse flames. Managing these spirits and their powers is key to overcoming challenges.
Progression in Beyond Oasis involves defeating enemies, solving environmental puzzles that often require specific spirit abilities, and finding hidden items or upgrades.
