Arkanoid II

Arkanoid II is a tile-breaking arcade game that arrived on the Nintendo Entertainment System in the late 1980s. It builds upon the classic gameplay loop established by its predecessors, offering a familiar yet expanded challenge for players on the NES.

You control a small paddle at the bottom of the screen, moving it left and right with precision. Your primary task is to deflect a ball upwards, aiming to break all the blocks that fill the upper portion of the playfield. When a block is hit, it might disappear or drop a special item. These items can dramatically change the game, such as making your paddle wider, giving you multiple balls to manage, or equipping it with powerful lasers. Clearing a stage means all blocks are gone, and you move to the next challenge in Arkanoid II.
