About Super Pac-Man
Super Pac-Man is a maze arcade game released in 1982, building upon the foundation of its predecessor.
In Super Pac-Man, you control the iconic yellow character as he moves through a grid-like maze. The primary goal is to clear each stage by consuming all the dots and bonus fruits that appear. Unlike earlier installments, Super Pac-Man introduces a layer of strategic depth with the addition of keys. You can pick up these keys to unlock corresponding colored doors within the maze, granting access to previously unreachable sections or creating pathways to evade the spectral enemies.
When you consume a power pellet, Super Pac-Man gains the ability to chase and devour the ghosts, just like in the original game. However, the ghosts in Super Pac-Man exhibit more unpredictable movement patterns, making evasion a constant challenge. The game also features larger sprites for Pac-Man and the ghosts, and new bonus items appear periodically to offer extra points. Successfully navigating the mazes and utilizing the keys and power-ups is key to achieving high scores in Super Pac-Man.
