About Pokemon Water Blue 2
Pokemon Water Blue 2 is a direct sequel to the original WaterBlue hack, built on the Pokemon Fire Red engine by Caminopreacher59. Following Blue's defeat against Gold and Crystal at the Viridian Gym, he teams up with Leaf to embark on a perilous journey across the Johto region to find the legendary trainer, Red. The narrative expands the Kanto/Johto lore with new events, dialogue-driven encounters, and a true ending hidden behind post-game Sevii Island events.
The gameplay is modernized with the Physical/Special split, reusable TMs, and HMs that can be forgotten without a move deleter. To streamline the experience, trade evolutions have been replaced with stone, level, or happiness requirements. Players can catch all three starters early in the game (Bulbasaur on Route 1, Squirtle on Route 23, and Charmander near Pewter City). Unique mechanics also allow you to sneak into the Safari Zone for regular battles and hand over maps to Captains to reach mysterious Event Islands.
Exploration is highly rewarded with numerous Easter eggs and secrets. From finding Mew under the iconic truck at Vermilion Dock to discovering a Master Ball stash on the 8th floor of Silph Co., the game is a treasure hunt for fans. Note: Ensure you visit 3 Island to fix the PC system after the Cinnabar event, and avoid pausing during the Deoxys puzzle to prevent technical locks. Whether you are surfing for surprises or skipping the Rock Tunnel, Water Blue 2 offers a fast-paced, feature-rich RPG experience.
