About Lufia: The Ruins of Lore

Lufia: The Ruins of Lore is a role-playing game released for the Game Boy Advance in the early 2000s, continuing the Lufia series.

The game casts you as Elan, a young man whose search for his missing father leads him to uncover ancient ruins and a world with a deep, hidden past. You'll journey through diverse environments, from bustling towns to challenging dungeons, engaging in turn-based battles against various monsters. Progression involves leveling up your characters, acquiring better equipment, and learning new abilities.

A distinctive feature of Lufia: The Ruins of Lore is the Capsule Monster system. You can capture monsters encountered in the wild, train them, and even combine them to create new, more powerful allies. These monsters fight alongside your human party members and can be equipped with items to further enhance their capabilities. Additionally, your human characters possess unique 'IP Skills,' special attacks or buffs that are unleashed when their IP gauge fills up during combat, adding a strategic layer to battles.
