About Lufia & the Fortress of Doom
Lufia & the Fortress of Doom is a Japanese role-playing game that arrived on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993, a time when console RPGs were really finding their footing.
The narrative centers on a hero who must gather companions and confront the ancient evil known as the Master of Doom and his four powerful Apostles, who have returned to subjugate the world. You'll travel from bustling towns to dangerous dungeons, interacting with characters and uncovering lore.
Progression involves traversing a world map, entering towns to resupply and gather information, and delving into dungeons. Inside dungeons, you'll encounter enemies that trigger turn-based battles where you manage your party's attacks, magic, and items.
