The Ninja Warriors is a side-scrolling beat 'em up arcade game, originally released in 1987, which received a 16-bit port for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991.

In The Ninja Warriors for SNES, you take on the role of Kage, a ninja tasked with overthrowing the tyrannical dictator Banglar and his forces. You move through linear stages, encountering a constant stream of enemies that appear from the sides of the screen. Your primary offensive capabilities include a punch, a kick, and a special attack, which can be combined. Kage can also jump and slide, offering some basic mobility to dodge attacks or close distance.

A defining feature of The Ninja Warriors on the SNES is its ability to support up to three players simultaneously. This cooperative play allows friends to join the fight, each choosing from one of the three available ninjas, though their core movesets are largely the same.
