Pokemon Orange Islands

Pokemon Orange Islands is a unique Game Boy Advance ROM hack created by kalarie, built on the Pokémon FireRed engine. It allows players to step into the shoes of Ash Ketchum right after his journey in the Indigo League. Returning to Pallet Town, Ash is tasked by Professor Oak to travel to Valencia Island to retrieve the mysterious GS Ball from Professor Ivy. What starts as a simple errand quickly evolves into a grand adventure across the Orange Archipelago, faithfully recreating the beloved anime storyline.

The game faithfully adapts the Orange Islands arc, featuring a completely custom map of the Orange Archipelago with new tiles and updated sprites. Players will start their journey with Ash's iconic partner, Pikachu, and set out to challenge the region's 4 unique Gym Leaders, known as the Orange Crew. The game features the original Generation 1 Pokémon roster, keeping the nostalgic feel of the early anime seasons intact.
