Monopoly is a digital adaptation of the iconic board game, bringing its classic property trading and wealth accumulation challenges to the Nintendo DS platform. Published by Electronic Arts, this version captures the familiar experience of buying, selling, and developing real estate.

The core of Monopoly involves navigating a game board by rolling dice. When you land on an unowned property, you have the option to purchase it. If you land on a property owned by another player, you must pay them rent, the amount of which increases significantly if they have built houses or hotels on it. Your objective is to manage your money carefully, buy up valuable locations, and establish a monopoly on property groups to charge higher rents and drive your opponents into bankruptcy.

On the Nintendo DS, the touchscreen becomes your primary tool for interacting with the game. You can use the stylus to virtually roll the dice, select properties to buy or develop, make trades with other players, and manage your finances.
