LovePlus

LovePlus is a dating simulation game developed by Konami and released for the Nintendo DS. It first came out in Japan in 2009.

The core of LovePlus revolves around your daily life as a student and your interactions with one of the three main heroines: Manaka Takane, Rinko Kobayakawa, or Nene Anegasaki. You manage your time, deciding whether to study, go out, or spend time with your chosen girl. When you're with her, you engage in conversations, select dialogue options, and can choose to give her gifts. The game keeps track of her mood, your relationship status, and her feelings towards you based on your interactions. The Nintendo DS hardware is used for many of the game's features. You'll use the stylus to navigate menus, select conversation topics, and even interact directly with the character, such as touching her hand or face to gauge her reaction. The game also prompts you to speak into the microphone for certain interactions. As your relationship progresses, the girls will remember past events and your preferences, leading to more personal conversations and scenarios. The passage of time is a key mechanic, with events unfolding day by day, and the game simulates birthdays, holidays, and even the progression through the school year.
