In Zuma, you aim a stone frog to shoot colored spheres into a moving chain, matching three or more of the same color to clear them before they reach the temple's exit, with the original Zuma featuring 4 distinct worlds.

About the Zuma Series

Zuma is a tile-matching puzzle game that first arrived in 2003 on Windows PCs. It became a hit for its straightforward premise and addictive gameplay that required quick reflexes and careful aiming.

The central mechanic of Zuma revolves around a stone frog that sits at the bottom of the screen, capable of spitting out colored spheres. These spheres are added to a long, winding chain of other colored balls that slowly advance towards a temple-like opening. Your goal is to shoot your spheres into the chain, creating matches of three or more of the same color. When a match occurs, those balls are eliminated, shrinking the chain. Zuma's Revenge!, the sequel, expanded on this with 6 worlds and over 60 levels.

Throughout the Zuma series, players encounter various power-ups that can aid their progress. These include the 'Explosion' ball, which clears a small radius of spheres, the 'Slowdown' power-up that temporarily reduces the speed of the ball chain, and the 'Lightning' ball that can clear an entire horizontal line of spheres. The original Zuma and its successor, Zuma's Revenge!, feature a single-player Adventure mode where players progress through increasingly challenging stages, often introducing new ball colors and faster chain speeds.
