Their debut work, 'Shining in the Darkness', was a pioneering first-person dungeon crawler that set the stage for the series, and they were instrumental in the co-development of the original 'Shining Force', a title that defined the strategy RPG genre for many console players.
Beyond their contribution to turn-based RPGs, Climax Entertainment earned a cult following for their unique approach to action-adventure games, particularly those utilizing an isometric perspective.
